Well, since did their character meme thing, I guess it's my turn to reveal some info about my character Janet (Juanita) from my story "La Folia".
Setting: Spain, 1802-1807 (the year that Spain abolished slavery within its own country and colonies)
Character: Janet (Juanita) Ramirez
- Currently lives with her adopted parents, will later move into a small apartment, where the plot will kick off.
- Oddly, has bobbed hair. Historically speaking, during the early 19th century there was a short lived fad with women sporting the coiffure a la Titus. Quickly fell out of style cuz, ya know, the patriarchy.
- Is asexual.
-Because she is chosen as a Conquistador, she bleeds red rose petals instead of blood
-Only Conquistadores can see the Diablos, creatures that brainwash innocent civilians into doing acts of violence. The Diablos can also shape-shift into ordinary people. The only way that can Diablos can be distinguished is checking to see if they bleed red ribbons.
-To conceal her identity, Janet wears a mask and hooded cloak. The majority of her fights take place during night.
Weapon: A pair of gold scissors. Designed like this -->images.search.yahoo.com/images… It can shapeshift into whatever weapon Janet so chooses. The first weapon that she chose was a rapier. When not in use, it's dormant within the cross necklace, gold with a ruby embedded in the middle, that Janet wears.
Catchphrase(s): When summoning her weapon - "Lend me your strength, O! blinding light of truth. Scatter your petals and bring me to victory!"
